Born and raised in Missouri at the doorstep of the Ozarks, Henry Hoffman is a former public library director and newspaper editor whose fiction and non-fiction works have appeared in a variety of literary and trade publications, including the Midwesterner and Library Journal. His first novel, Bound, a light mystery and romance, was published in 1990 by Dan River Press. Along with his works of fiction, he has contributed articles to a number of standard reference works, including the Encyclopedia of Library and Information Science and the Encyclopedia of Natural Disasters. He currently resides in Southwest Florida.
